Moussa proposes committee of 1000 public figures to consult with military council

Presidential candidate Amr Moussa has proposed a "road map" for resolving the various political, economic and social crises that the country is currently facing. Included in his strategy is a proposal for a committee of between 500 and 1000 cvilians to consult with the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces on matters of policy, the transition to civilian government and protecting the achievements of the revolution.
The proposed committee would be comprised of delegates from various political parties, presidential candidates, revolutionary coalitions and trade unions, as well as Al-Azhar and the various churches.
The committee would continue in place until the end of the upcoming parliamentary elections, according to Moussa's plan.
“The ruling council needs methodological consultation with the whole society in order to preserve the stability of the nation and its reputation abroad,” he said.
