Egypt's ousted president Hosni Mubarak did not attend the Tuesday session of his ongoing trial. Court security officials cited turbulent weather as preventing the flight to the court room.
Military planes have flown Mubarak to the court room since the case opened in August. Claiming deteriorating health, the ousted president has not stayed in jail but rather in the International Medical Centre, tens of kilometres outside the capital.
Mubarak, his two sons, Gamal and Alaa, along with former interior minister Habib El-Adly are facing charges of ordering the killing of peaceful protesters during the 18-day uprising last year.
Mubarak and his aides have already pled not guilty in court, and currently the ball is in the defence attorneys' court.
